Empactis Urban was created to fill this void. We focus exclusively on developing ‘Missing Middle’ housing - a range of thoughtfully designed solutions including duplexes, town homes, cottage courts, and innovative micro-housing that offer the perfect blend of privacy, community, and affordability.

    We engineer our projects to deliver homes with a target sale price between $225,000 and $250,000, making homeownership a tangible reality for households with moderate incomes.

  • We prioritize durable, quality construction and efficient, functional floor plans. From compact micro-housing units to family-friendly town homes (typically 850 to 1,250 sq. ft.), our focus is on smart, practical design that maximizes every square foot to meet the evolving needs of our communities.

Our development model is strategic and impact-focused.  We specialize in in-fill development, transforming underutilized or vacant lots within existing urban areas into vibrant communities of town homes and cottage court clusters that maximizes land use and reduces sprawl.

Crucially, our work is supported by a growing wave of pro-housing legislation in key states. We strategically target federally designated Opportunity Zones, where our investments not only generate returns but also contribute directly to the economic well-being of communities that need it most. This favourable environment allows us to navigate the development process more effectively, reduce risk, and deliver much-needed affordable homes to the communities that need them most.
